Directions

Traveling to Valleluce from Rome or Naples :

Trains leave every 30 minutes from Rome Da Vinci Airport going directly to Rome Central Train Station (30 minutes ride). From there you may take a "Rapid or Fast" Train to Cassino (2 hours ride) . From Cassino to Valleluce you can take a Taxi or Autobus (30 Min). From Naples you may also travel to Cassino by train (2 hours).  There are Information Booths  at the train Stations and they also speak English there.  If you need to stay at a Hotel, you may find them in Cassino or St. Elia.

Thank you very much for your lovely Valleluce website. My grandmother, Vincenza Vettraino Schiavi, passed away recently. She very much enjoyed seeing the photos of her village which she left in 1939. She was so surprised, especially to see the photos of the church which you had up earlier. It was amazing to find all this information on the web and I hope to visit in person someday (thanks for the map!!).
